This is an interesting one. Around 14 years ago I was buying up second-hand tape all over the place – audiotape, videotape, you name it. I was on a collecting kick, trying to find long lost gems on both formats. During a search on of all things Ebay, I discovered the following.

Someone had somehow managed to get access to some of the tapes used by Singapore Airlines for their in-flight programming! They were going pretty cheaply too so I snapped them up. All were on 5 inch spools, quarter-inch tape running at 1 7/8 IPS, some mono, some stereo. So I thought it’d be fun to put those up now that I’ve completed the run of release dubs.

This is a complete reel recorded as 4 track mono at 1 7/8 IPS and contains no less than four 1 hour programs. One of these has Barry Spicer as the host, and another I previewed which will be up next week is hosted by Keith Scott.
